Reuben, you are my firstborn, my might, and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of dignity, and the excellency of power:

 

The excellency of dignity speaks of the noble traits that the tribe of ruben had. They carried  them selves in a very dignified and respectful manner. Example of this is how they dress wearing a mitre unlike the war bonnet of there brothers gad. The mitre was worn by the Luite priest who did the server of the temple. Excellency of power is self explanatory, but the seminole indians were one of the most feared tribes by the early settlers of north america. 

 

Unstable as water, you shall not excel; the seminole indians were known as a nomadic tribe moving from  place to place. He would not excel because of the sin committed with his fathers concubine, and so his birthright was given to Ephraim and Manasseh,  But Yahudah prevailed over his brethren and gained chief ruler ship.
